At present, there are many problems that need to be solved in urban sewage treatment. Firstly, there is a shortage of construction funds in some cities. Secondly, there is a problem of blind construction in some cities. In addition, the utilization rate of recycled water is not high, the sewage pipeline network in some cities is not developed enough, and some factories' production sewage seriously exceeds the standard. These problems have been affecting the water quality safety standards and the healthy development of the sewage treatment industry. In response to the above issues, the author suggests that the following measures should be taken:
2.1 Actively expand financing channels and effectively solve the problem of insufficient funds
The problem of insufficient funds is a prominent issue in many urban environmental engineering projects, and it is also the main problem that the sewage treatment industry needs to face. To address this issue, we must take effective measures to change the original financing model, adopt advanced operational management models, face the sewage treatment industry towards the market, change the financing channels dominated by government funds, and actively expand financing channels. We can adopt a custody operation model, as well as BOT and TOT models, and operate in a diversified manner. In addition, actively learn from advanced foreign operational management experience, change thinking, innovate ideas, and create a new situation in sewage treatment.
2.2 Take effective measures to improve the efficiency of sewage regeneration
Taking effective measures to improve the efficiency of sewage regeneration can not only save freshwater resources, but also promote the development of sewage treatment by effectively utilizing the use of regenerated sewage. Firstly, we can adopt advanced treatment technologies to improve the efficiency of sewage regeneration and steadily develop three-level treatment processes. Secondly, we can effectively expand the utilization channels of recycled water, which can be used for urban construction planning water according to quality, or for industrial and agricultural production water according to quality. Effective measures can be taken to improve the efficiency of sewage regeneration.
2.3 Actively explore and choose advanced sewage treatment processes
The sewage treatment process directly affects the sewage treatment rate. From the perspective of environmental protection, the selection of sewage treatment plant processes should adopt clean production processes that produce less pollutants, have higher resource utilization rates, can achieve urban water pollution control goals, and are conducive to comprehensive utilization. The quantitative indicators for selecting clean production processes in sewage treatment plants include sludge generation rate, land area per unit of treated water, self use water rate, and energy consumption per unit of treated water. Among them, the energy consumption per unit of treated water includes coal, steam, electricity, or gas fuel, etc. At present, the activated sludge pollution method is the main process for urban sewage treatment. This method can effectively reduce organic load, and the operating cost and energy consumption are not high. Therefore, the application of activated sludge pollution method in sewage treatment will not change significantly in the next few years. However, we still need to actively explore and seek treatment processes with low capital and resource consumption. We need to start from China's national conditions and urban development status to actively explore advanced sewage treatment processes.
